There are many times when it seems as if two people are in a relationship to do nothing more than making each other miserable, but that often is untrue. They might have difficulties working out their issues at times but these are often temporary conditions that will soon be part of their past. Some of them might be resolved easier if the couple chooses to find a counselor to help them, and others may never be resolved until the relationship is over.

One of the worst ways of destroying a partner’s happiness comes with special events the two of them share as a couple with friends and family. These are often celebrations of anniversaries, religious events or special occasions. One partner is often the one who does most of the work of arranging the celebration, and it seems as if the other one is in charge of creating situations that make it as difficult as possible to get anything done.
